Most people searching for a tyre shop in Sharjah can only deal with tyres after 8 pm or on a Friday, because the working day is spent driving to Dubai and back. 800 UAE Tyres fits tyres at your building or villa in Sharjah and nearby Ajman at any hour, from AED 100 for fitting, with value, mid-range and premium tyres quoted on WhatsApp before we set off. When a job needs an alignment rig, we use a partner workshop in Sharjah Industrial Area.
Why a tyre shop in Sharjah has to work around the Dubai commute
A large share of Sharjah residents leave home before 7 am and get back after 8 pm, so a tyre shop that closes at 10 pm leaves them a two-hour window at best. Al Ittihad Road, Al Taawun Road and Al Wahda Street are slow in both directions during commute hours, and a 15 km trip across the city to buy tyres can take 45 minutes before you even reach a counter.
That is why most of our Sharjah bookings land between 8 pm and 1 am, or on Friday after prayers. The technician comes to the car park of your building, fits and balances the tyres in about 45–60 minutes for a set of four, and you are not losing an evening sitting in traffic with a worn or punctured tyre.
Sharjah Industrial Area tyre lanes: real choice, real time cost
Sharjah Industrial Area, spread across Industrial Areas 1 to 18, has some of the widest tyre choice in the northern emirates, with whole lanes of traders stacking Chinese, Korean, Japanese and European brands side by side. Prices there are competitive and bargaining is normal, which is exactly why many Sharjah drivers go there first.
The cost is time and attention. If you drive there, keep these points in mind:
- Late afternoon and Friday evening are the busiest times, and waiting in 40°C heat beside the car is part of the deal.
- Read the DOT code on the sidewall yourself; cheap stock is sometimes cheap because it is three or four years old.
- Confirm whether the price per tyre includes fitting, balancing, valves and disposal, or whether those come after.
- Some lanes sell part-worn used tyres; check tread depth and look for sidewall repairs before you agree.
- Our own partner workshop is in the Industrial Area for alignment and jobs that need a lift, so we send cars there when it is genuinely needed.
Value-for-money tyres that make sense in Sharjah
Value brands such as Giti, Sailun, Triangle and Linglong are a sensible buy for Sharjah city driving, provided the DOT date is recent and the load and speed rating match the car. A 185/65 R15 for a Sunny, Yaris or Attrage costs around AED 180–250 in that tier, and a 205/55 R16 for a Corolla or Elantra about AED 220–300.
If you do the daily run to Dubai on E311 or E611, 80–100 km a day at highway speed, a mid-range tyre usually pays back. Hankook, Kumho, Nexen and Yokohama in 215/55 R17 for a Camry or Altima sit at roughly AED 350–480, and they tend to stay quieter and wear more evenly over 40,000 km of hot motorway. For a Hilux or Fortuner in 265/65 R17, expect AED 350–450 value or AED 480–650 mid-range.
To spread the cost of a full set, we accept Tabby and Tamara in 4 payments, as well as card and cash. The quote on WhatsApp shows each option side by side, so you can compare the value and mid-range price for your exact size before choosing.
Areas our mobile tyre shop covers in Sharjah and Ajman
We cover the whole of Sharjah city and nearby Ajman, with arrival usually within about an hour depending on traffic. Regular call-outs include the towers of Al Nahda and Al Majaz, the corniche side of Al Khan, villas and compounds in Muwaileh and University City, older buildings in Al Qasimia, and Ajman areas such as Al Nuaimiya and Al Rashidiya.
Parking differs a lot between these areas. Al Nahda and Al Majaz towers usually have basement or podium parking where we work in the bay, Al Qasimia often means street parking where we set out cones and work on the kerb side, and Muwaileh villas give us room on the driveway. If your building security needs the plate number of our van, send it with your booking and we arrive with it ready.
Booking a tyre change in Sharjah after work or on Friday
The simplest way to book is to send a photo of the tyre sidewall and your location on WhatsApp during your lunch break. We reply with the size confirmed, two or three brand options with their DOT year and the total including fitting, and you pick a time such as 9:30 pm in your building car park.
On the night, the technician checks all four tyres and the spare, fits and balances the new ones with new valves, torques the wheel nuts and sets pressures to the door-pillar figure. The old tyres leave with the van. If the old tyres showed uneven edge wear, we suggest an alignment slot at the Industrial Area workshop on a Friday or Saturday morning, when the roads are quiet.
