About Sailun
Sailun Group was established in 2002 in Qingdao, China, and is listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. It grew rapidly through investment in manufacturing technology and expanded overseas with factories in Vietnam and Cambodia, which supply many export markets. Sailun has made truck and bus tyres a major part of its business and promotes its EcoPoint3 rubber-mixing technology for lower rolling resistance and longer wear. Its passenger tyres are sold under the Atrezzo and Terramax names in more than 100 countries, including the Gulf.

- Good tread life for a value brand
- Consistent quality from modern factories in China, Vietnam and Cambodia
- Wide size range including SUV, A/T and van fitments
- Low price for 17–20 inch sizes
Weaknesses

- Steering feel is vague compared with Japanese brands
- Rubber stiffens with age in UAE heat, reducing grip after about 3–4 years

Performance
Sailun passenger tyres are predictable and comfortable at normal speeds. The Atrezzo Elite is a quiet commuter tyre, and the Atrezzo ZSR 2 gives reasonable grip for sedans on larger wheels, though its steering is less precise than a Falken or Roadstone N'Fera. Wet braking is acceptable for the price but longer than mid-range rivals. For SUVs, the Terramax CVR is a comfortable road tyre, and the Terramax A/T4S is a capable budget all-terrain that handles gravel and moderate sand. The Commercio Pro serves vans and light trucks.
Durability and tread life
Wear is Sailun's strongest point among value brands. Atrezzo Elite tyres often reach 40,000–50,000 km on UAE sedans, and the Terramax A/T4S commonly lasts 45,000–55,000 km on a Hilux or Prado. Like other budget tyres, the rubber hardens faster in constant heat, so grip and comfort drop before the tread is gone. Inspect sidewalls from year 3 and replace by 4–5 years from the DOT date.
Sailun in UAE conditions
Sailun is widely sold in the UAE and is common on Chinese-brand cars such as MG, Geely, Changan and Chery as a replacement tyre, as well as on rental fleets and work pickups. It is a reasonable buy when budget is tight and most driving is in dry conditions. Check the DOT date because Sailun stock is often imported in large batches, and the country of manufacture (China, Vietnam or Cambodia) is printed on the sidewall. For heavy SUVs doing long summer highway runs, a mid-range tyre gives a bigger safety margin.
