Tyre replacement in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah with 800 UAE Tyres means we bring new tyres in your size to wherever the car is parked and fit them there, with fitting from AED 100. You choose the brand from a WhatsApp quote, we confirm the price and DOT date before dispatch, and a technician fits, balances and inflates the tyres in about 30–60 minutes for a set of four.
What's included
- WhatsApp quote with two or three brand options in your exact size
- Fresh stock, with the DOT production date shared before fitting
- Removal of old tyres and fitting of new ones on your existing rims
- New rubber valves, or service kits for TPMS valves where needed
- Computerised wheel balancing on the van-mounted balancer
- Inflation to the door-placard pressure, with nitrogen on request
- Disposal of your old tyres through a licensed recycler
Signs you need it
- Tread depth is at or close to 1.6 mm, or the wear bars are flush with the tread
- The DOT code shows the tyre is about five years old or more
- Cracks are visible in the sidewall or between tread blocks
- There is a bulge, bubble or cut on the sidewall
- The car failed or is due for its RTA test and the tyres are marginal
- Uneven wear has left one edge of the tyre bald
How the job runs
- Share your tyre size. Send a photo of the tyre sidewall or tell us the car model and year. We read the size, load index and speed rating, for example 265/65 R17 112S on a Prado, so the replacement matches what the car needs.
- Pick a brand and confirm. We reply with options across premium, mid-range and value brands, each with a per-tyre price and the production date. Once you confirm, the tyres are loaded and a time slot or immediate dispatch is arranged.
- Fitting on site. The technician lifts the car, removes each wheel, changes the tyre on a machine in the van, fits a new valve and balances the wheel. The old tyre's date code is shown to you if you want to see why it needed replacing.
- Torque, inflate and pay. Wheels go back on and are torqued to specification, pressures are set and the TPMS is reset if fitted. Pay by card, cash, Tabby or Tamara.
How tyre replacement works when we come to you
Mobile tyre replacement in Dubai works exactly like a workshop visit, except the workshop comes to your car. Our vans carry a tyre changer, a computerised balancer, a compressor and a calibrated torque wrench, so the result is the same as a fixed bay in Al Quoz.
We need about 3 x 6 metres beside the car to work safely: a villa driveway, an open car park or a basement bay with enough height for the van, usually 2.1 m or more. If your basement is lower, the technician brings the wheels up to the van one at a time.
A set of four is normally fitted in 45–60 minutes; one or two tyres in 30–40 minutes. Larger SUV and 4x4 tyres such as 285/60 R18 on a Land Cruiser take a little longer because the wheels are heavier.
How to know your tyres need replacing
Replace a tyre when the tread reaches 1.6 mm, when it is around five years old, or when it has sidewall damage, whichever comes first. In the UAE, age is often the deciding factor, because cars that do short city trips can reach five years with plenty of tread left.
To check tread, look for the small wear bars across the grooves. When the tread is level with them, the tyre is at the legal limit. For better wet grip during the few rainy days a year and less risk of aquaplaning on flooded underpasses, many drivers replace at 3 mm.
To check age, find the four-digit DOT code on the sidewall. 1222 means week 12 of 2022. Heat and UV hardens rubber, so even a tyre that looks fine can crack and lose grip. We do not fit tyres more than about two years from production unless you ask for a specific older stock item and agree to it.
Choosing replacement tyres for UAE conditions
The right replacement tyre matches the original size, load index and speed rating at minimum, and suits how you actually drive. A Camry doing daily runs on Sheikh Zayed Road needs a quiet, heat-stable touring tyre; a Patrol that goes to Al Qudra or Liwa on weekends benefits from a highway-terrain or all-terrain pattern.
Premium brands such as Michelin, Bridgestone, Continental and Pirelli usually last longer and keep their grip better as they age. Mid-range brands such as Hankook, Yokohama, Kumho and Toyo give good value for daily driving. Value brands such as Zeetex, Triangle and Sailun suit older cars or owners who replace on age rather than wear.
- Match or exceed the load index, for example 91 or higher if the car came on 91V
- Match or exceed the speed rating; never fit a lower rating than the placard
- Keep XL (extra load) tyres on cars that came with them, common on SUVs and EVs
- Replace in axle pairs at minimum so both sides wear and grip evenly
- On 4x4 and AWD cars, keep all four tyres within about 2–3 mm of each other
Replacing two tyres or four
If only two tyres are worn, the new pair goes on the rear axle on most cars, even front-wheel-drive ones. Rear grip keeps the car stable if you brake or swerve hard; a car with worn rear tyres is more likely to spin.
On permanent four-wheel-drive and AWD vehicles, including many Audi, Subaru, Range Rover and Tesla Dual Motor models, a large difference in tread between axles can strain the centre differential. In those cases we may recommend four tyres, and we will explain the reason with the actual tread readings rather than as a sales line.
Pricing
Fitting starts at AED 100 and covers call-out, fitting and balancing. Tyre prices depend on brand and size: roughly AED 250–450 per tyre for value and mid-range 16–17 inch sedan sizes, AED 450–900 for premium sizes, and AED 600–1,500 for large SUV and performance fitments. Every price is confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch, and Tabby or Tamara lets you split the total into four payments.
