A good tyre shop in Dubai shows you the DOT date on every tyre before it goes on, quotes one price that covers fitting, balancing, new valves and disposal of the old tyres, and finishes the wheel nuts with a torque wrench rather than an impact gun alone. 800 UAE Tyres works as a tyre shop that drives to you: our vans carry a tyre changer, balancer and compressor, fitting starts from AED 100, and most Dubai city addresses see a technician within 30–45 minutes, 24 hours a day.
How to judge a tyre shop in Dubai before you hand over the keys
The quickest test of any tyre shop in Dubai is whether it shows you the four-digit DOT code on the new tyre before mounting it. A code of 1426 means week 14 of 2026; in Dubai heat, a tyre that has sat in a warehouse for more than about two years has already lost part of its life before it turns a wheel. Ask for the code on WhatsApp with the quote, and refuse the job if the tyre on the trolley does not match.
The rest of the checklist is about what happens after the tyre is on the rim. These six points separate a careful shop from a merely fast one:
- DOT date shown on the actual tyres being fitted, not a catalogue photo.
- Wheel balancing included in the fitting price, with new weights, not added as an extra at the till.
- New rubber valves, or new seals and cores for TPMS valves, on every tyre changed, because old valves crack in the heat.
- Old tyres taken away for proper disposal, so you are not left with four casings in the boot.
- Wheel nuts finished by hand with a torque wrench to the maker's figure, typically 103–140 Nm on most saloons and SUVs.
- TPMS sensors protected during demounting, and the warning light reset or relearned before the car leaves.
What a full-job tyre quote in Dubai should include
A fair Dubai tyre quote names the brand, model, size, DOT year and the total for the whole job, so the number you agree on WhatsApp is the number you pay. The common trap is a low per-tyre price that grows by AED 20–40 a wheel once valves, balancing, nitrogen and disposal are added at the counter.
Our quotes list the tyres per brand and size plus fitting from AED 100, and say up front whether alignment is recommended. As a guide, a 205/55 R16 for a Corolla or Civic runs about AED 220–300 in a value brand such as Giti or Sailun, AED 300–420 in a mid-range Hankook or Yokohama, and AED 450–600 for Michelin or Continental. You can pay by card, cash, Tabby or Tamara in 4 split payments.
If a shop will not put the total in writing, or the brand changes once the car is already on the jack, walk away. Standing next to a hot ramp in July is the wrong moment to renegotiate.
The cars and tyre sizes Dubai drivers ask us for most
Most Dubai jobs fall into five size groups, and we keep those sizes moving so the stock stays fresh. Approximate 2026 prices per tyre:
Teslas and Chinese SUVs such as the Geely Monjaro or Haval H6 are increasingly common on Dubai roads too. Send us the size from the sidewall or a photo of the door-pillar sticker, and we match the load index and speed rating before quoting.
- 185/65 R15 for Nissan Sunny, Toyota Yaris and Mitsubishi Attrage: AED 180–250 value, AED 250–350 mid, AED 380–500 premium.
- 215/55 R17 for Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima and Hyundai Sonata: AED 260–350 value, AED 350–480 mid, AED 500–700 premium.
- 225/45 R18 for BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class: AED 650–900 premium, AED 800–1,100 for run-flats.
- 265/65 R17 for Toyota Prado, Fortuner and Mitsubishi Pajero: AED 350–450 value up to AED 700–950 premium.
- 275/40 R22 and similar for Range Rover and G-Class: premium only, about AED 1,200–2,200.
Where our mobile tyre shop covers Dubai
We fit tyres across Dubai wherever the car is parked, with typical arrival of 30–45 minutes in city areas. That includes tower basements in Dubai Marina and JLT, Downtown and Business Bay car parks, street parking in Deira and Bur Dubai, villa driveways in Jumeirah and Mirdif, and the newer communities of Dubai Hills, JVC, Dubai Silicon Oasis and Al Barsha.
Basement parking is everyday work for us. When clearance is around 2.1 m the van stays at ground level or on the ramp, and the technician works at the car with a trolley jack, impact tools and portable kit. Villa jobs in Mirdif or Jumeirah usually happen in the driveway with the van alongside, and a set of four is typically finished in 45–60 minutes.
Night calls are routine. A blown tyre on Sheikh Zayed Road at 2 am gets the same van and the same price structure as a Saturday-morning tyre change in Al Barsha.
When we send your car to the Al Quoz partner workshop
Jobs that need a lift or a four-wheel alignment rig go to our partner workshop in Al Quoz, a few minutes off Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road. That covers alignment after new tyres when the old set showed edge wear, steering that pulls after a kerb strike, and bent-rim checks that need the wheel spun on a proper machine.
Everything else, including fitting, balancing, puncture repair, valve and TPMS work and pressure checks, is done on site. If we recommend the workshop, the quote says why, and you decide whether to book it the same day or later in the week.
