When you search for a tyres shop near me, the closest dot on the map is often not the fastest fix: that shop may be closed, short of your size, or impossible to reach on a flat tyre. The quickest option is usually a mobile tyre service that drives to your exact pin. 800 UAE Tyres runs vans 24 hours a day across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and nearby Ajman, with arrival typically in 30 to 45 minutes in Dubai city areas and usually within about an hour in outer areas. Send your location, a photo of the tyre size on the sidewall and a photo of the damage, and we quote on WhatsApp before dispatch. Fitting starts from AED 100.
What a tyres shop near me should really mean
"Near me" should mean the shop that gets your car safely back on the road soonest, not the one with the shortest straight line from your phone's GPS. A map app ranks by distance and opening hours it was told about, and it has no idea whether the shop has a 225/45 R18 run-flat in stock or a queue of six cars.
Three things decide the real distance. First, whether you can drive there at all: a car on a deflated tyre should not be driven more than a few hundred metres at walking pace, or the sidewall is crushed and a cheap repair becomes a new tyre. Second, whether the shop holds your size, because a shop 2 km away that has to order the tyre for tomorrow is further than a van 20 minutes away carrying it. Third, whether it is open, since most fixed shops in the UAE close by 10 or 11 pm.
Measured that way, the nearest tyre shop is frequently the one that drives to your pin with the tyre already loaded.
What to send on WhatsApp so the right tyre is on the van
Four pieces of information let us load the correct tyre before the van leaves, which is the difference between one visit and two. It takes under a minute to send them, and the technician arrives knowing the size, the damage and the exact parking spot.
The sidewall photo matters most. The size is moulded in raised letters and reads like 215/55 R17 94V; a clear photo also shows the DOT date code and whether the tyre is a run-flat, marked RFT, ROF, SSR or with a star for BMW. If the damage photo shows a nail in the tread, we may be able to repair rather than replace, and you will know that before we set off.
- Live location pin, not a typed address, so the driver lands on your car
- Photo of the tyre sidewall showing the full size and load/speed code
- Photo of the damage: nail, cut, bulge or a tyre off the rim
- Car make, model and year, for example Nissan X-Trail 2021
Realistic arrival times in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman
In Dubai city areas such as Business Bay, JLT, Al Barsha, Deira and Jumeirah, a van usually reaches you in 30 to 45 minutes. Outer areas such as Dubai South, Damac Hills 2 and Al Qudra-side communities, as well as most of Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman, are usually reached within about an hour.
Traffic changes those numbers more than distance does. The Sharjah to Dubai stretch on Al Ittihad Road and the E311 is slow from roughly 7 to 10 am and 5 to 9 pm, so a call from Al Nahda at 6 pm takes longer than one from Al Majaz at 2 pm. Late at night the roads are open and arrival is often faster everywhere.
We give you an honest estimate on WhatsApp when you book, based on where the nearest loaded van actually is, and the technician shares a live location so you can watch it arrive.
Mall car parks, office basements and villa compounds
Most awkward locations are workable as long as you tell us how to get in before the van arrives. GPS pins drift inside multi-level car parks, so the pin alone will not find you on level B3.
In a mall car park, send the level, the zone or colour and the nearest pillar number, and check whether the entrance has a height bar. In an office basement, tell security a tyre technician is coming, note the clearance sign, and if it is around 2.1 m we work beside your car with portable kit instead of bringing the van down. For gated villa communities, register the visitor at the gate or in the community app with the technician's name and van plate, which we send you once the job is confirmed.
- Mall: level, zone or colour, pillar number, height bar
- Office basement: security notified, clearance height, access card if needed
- Villa compound: gate pass or app registration with van plate
- Roadside: nearest exit or landmark, and which direction you were driving
Repair, replace or spare: what the quote will cover
Your quote will fall into one of three jobs, and the photos usually tell us which. A clean puncture up to about 6 mm in the tread area can be repaired with a plug-patch fitted from inside the tyre. A cut or bulge in the sidewall or shoulder means the tyre has to be replaced, and we will list a value, mid-range and premium option in your size.
As a price guide for common sizes, a 205/55 R16 for a Corolla or Elantra runs about AED 220 to 300 in value brands, 300 to 420 mid-range and 450 to 600 premium. A 215/55 R17 for a Camry or Altima is about AED 260 to 350, 350 to 480 and 500 to 700. Fitting is from AED 100 on top, and you can pay by card, cash, Tabby or Tamara.
If the tyre is beyond repair and you would rather buy it later, we can fit your spare instead and check its pressure, since spares that have sat in a hot boot for two years are often down to 20 psi or less.
