Who it's for
Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger, Jeep Gladiator, Toyota Land Cruiser
Pros
- More grip on rocks than an A/T
- Quieter than a full mud tyre
- Strong sidewall with side biters
Cons
- Heavier than the AT3 4S
- Noise increases as it wears
Our verdict for UAE roads
A good compromise for pickups that mix wadi trails with daily driving; keep pressures correct as the extra weight builds heat on long summer runs.

Cooper tyres are available in the UAE through specialist 4x4 tyre dealers and online retailers, mostly in 16–20 inch SUV and pickup sizes such as 265/70 R16, 285/70 R17 and 275/55 R20. Some stock is imported from the US or UK, so ask for the DOT date: anything older than about 2 years at fitting is not worth accepting. Cooper's light-truck (LT) sizes run at higher pressures, so follow the load table rather than the car's placard if you switch from a P-metric tyre. We can supply and fit Cooper at your location with 24-hour mobile service.
