Jetour tyre tips
- The Jetour T2 is often taken to the desert; an all-terrain tyre in the factory size improves sand grip.
- X70 and X90 models carry seven passengers; check the load index before fitting cheaper replacements.
- Like other Chinese brands, upgrading from the OE tyre to a mid-range brand usually reduces cabin noise.
Common factory tyres on Jetour: Giti, Linglong, Sailun.
Tyre brands that suit the Jetour T2

- Bridgestone — AED 400–AED 950 per tyre
- Pirelli — AED 450–AED 1,100 per tyre
- Continental — AED 420–AED 1,000 per tyre
- Yokohama — AED 330–AED 800 per tyre
When to replace the tyres
Most SUV tyres last 35,000–55,000 km in the UAE. Heavy SUVs wear tyres faster, especially if pressures are allowed to drop. Replace at about five years regardless of tread, and check the spare as well.
Compact SUVs typically need a load index of 100–104 with H or V rating. Large SUVs such as the Land Cruiser, Patrol and LX need 110–116, often with S, T or H rating on H/T and A/T tyres. Many European SUVs specify XL tyres. Never go below the placard load index on a heavy SUV.
